A new Prize has been instigated by the International Organisation for Biological Crystallization, funded by a donation from Professor Jan Drenth and the European Commission OptiCryst Project. The prize will be given to an individual or group presenting, at the ICCBM12 conference (poster or talk), a new innovative idea that can be theoretical or practical/technological. The prize will consist of $150 and a certificate. Any participant at the ICCBM from any country is eligible to be considered. When submitting an abstract for a poster or talk please state if you would like to be considered for the prize highlighting why the idea is new and innovative.
